BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma
in Fashion and Clothing This course covers a broad range of subjects relevant to the fashion industry. You will study 18 units that include: visual communication, fashion illustration, garment construction, marketing, computers in art and design and the history of fashion / arts. As part of the course you will be given the opportunity to participate in industry-led projects such as the Alternative Fashion Week. You will also work with practitioners in the industry. As part of the course you can also go on a field trip to Paris / New York.

Entry requirements: You will normally need to have at least one of the following: a standard of maths and English supported by a general education equivalent to at least four GCSEs at grade A–C, level 2 qualifications or appropriate equivalent qualification or related work experience.
IELTS requirements: 5.5 (minimum 5.0 in writing)

BTEC Level 4 HNC/HND
in Fashion andTextiles This Higher Education course offers a progression route towards work-based qualifications and employment. You will learn a broad range of fashion and textile techniques, ranging from pattern cutting, garment construction, textiles, knit, fashion styling, marketing and business. This exciting course is ‘hands on’ and offers training that is based on the needs of employers and professional bodies. As part of the course you will be given live briefs set by clients who work in the fashion and textiles industry to encourage the generation of ideas with a client or purpose in mind.
