The focus of this course is to develop all aspects of teaching and matching theory to practice. Learners learn the basics of good classroom management through practising classroom management techniques, developing lesson plans and making resources using the ICT.
Entry requirements: You need to be teaching your own class for at least two and a half hours a week.
IELTS requirements: 5.5 (minimum 5.0 in writing)
Possible next steps: PGCE Generic (year 2) at the Institute of Education.
PGCE ESOL (year 1) This course is the first part of an Institute of Education course for people wishing to teach ESOL.
