The 18th Annual Taste & Tour of the Countryside Drexel Hill, PA October 18, 2011 – One of the region’s largest culinary trade shows attracting planners of events was recently held at Drexelbrook Corporate Events Center.
Booming with culinary delights, this premier event played host to interactive entertainment and more than 50 exhibitors, including restaurants, hotels, caterers, bakeries, attractions and beverage companies. Over 1,500 guests attended, includ- ing many who plan meetings, special events, galas and fund raisers. These attendees were able to get a glimpse of what is up and coming for the 2011 holiday season as well as venues and services for 2012 events.
Inside the Grand Ballroom, exhibitors showcased their holiday themed stations. Guests experienced the fall flavors of Thanksgiving, cuddled up with the wintry delicacies of the Christmas season, were mystified by those in the Halloween area, showed their allegiance to Patriotic holidays, or engaged in a New Year’s celebra- tion. The Valentine’s Day Dessert Room brought sweet treats from both bakeries and area attractions.
