The Second Annual Feastival Showcases Philly’s Top Chefs Philadelphia, Pa
September 14, 2011 – More than 700 attendees enjoyed a special night of culinary delights and live
performances as the Philadelphia Arts Festival and Philly Fringe hosted their second annual Feastival. The event, which benefits the Philadelphia cultural community, was co-hosted by three of the city’s culinary luminaries: Stephen Starr, Michael Solomonov and Audrey Clair Taichman. The evening featured a tantalizing feast prepared by more than 75 of the city’s top restaurants, along with entertainment from choreographer Brian Sanders, live painting by the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program, and a performance by 7 Fingers, a nationally touring circus from Montreal. Former Pennsylvania Governor and Philadelphia Mayor Ed Rendell was honored for his active role in the city’s cultural arts community, and for his significant city and statewide contributions. This year’s Feastival was presented by Audi, PECO and Philadelphia Magazine.
