The new Paramour Restaurant has opened in the historic Wayne Hotel, a Main Line landmark. A sophisticated bar and restaurant, Paramour features a striking contemporary design and seasonally inspired dishes. Guests can dine on the restaurant’s outdoor veranda, in its cozy lobby lounge or in its stunning main dining room that offers views of the chef’s bar and open kitchen.


Now in their second season of Major League Soccer (MLS), the Philadelphia Union play in one of the league’s most pic- turesque stadiums - PPL Park. Located along the banks of the Delaware River in Delaware County, PPL Park is not just the home stadium of the Union, but it hosts a variety of other events, as well.


The University of Delaware and Villanova will square off in PPL Park’s first ever foot- ball game to be held on November 19, 2011, and a major collegiate rugby tourna- ment will take place here in June. Booking an event or concert at the facility, atten- dees can enjoy its 11,000-square foot Stadium Club that overlooks both the field and river. The stadium seats 18,500 for sporting events and as many as 26,000 for concerts and performances.


In February 2012, the IceWorks Skating Complex in Aston will be heating up as more than 100 nationally ranked curlers will make Delaware County their temporary home while taking part in one of the most elite curling competitions in the nation. This event also will serve as a qualifier for both the curling world championship and the Olympic games.


IceWorks features four U.S. and interna- tional-sized rinks where both hockey and figure skating competitions bring more than two million visitors to the area. The
