“
...by the industry,
industry” A Preview to G2E 2011by Frank Fahrenkopf C
hange is the one constant that I’ve seen during my decades observing and working in the gaming industry. Whether it is rise of Internet gambling in jurisdictions across Europe, the rapid growth of gaming in Macau and Singapore or the shift from coin-operated slot machines to TITO, our industry is in a constant state of evolution, and G2E is no different.
Each year the American Gaming Association (AGA) and Reed Exhibitions – the organizers of the G2E family of events – strive to create an event that is at the forefront of gaming, bringing you the latest trends and most innovative products.
This year, our effort to stay ahead of the curve has led to the biggest changes to the show in its history. We are excited to move into the state-of- the-art Sands Expo and Convention Center and shift the dates of the show to the beginning of October. This will allow exhibitors more breathing room between major international gaming events and help purchasing decision-makers at gaming companies plan for the future with greater ease.
The new date and location will help us to provide attendees with an event where they can get
for the
an even greater return on their investment. For example, on the new show floor, all exhibitors will be in one hall, making it more convenient for attendees to see all of the products and services they need to make their property more successful and competitive.
