Sign & Digital Awards showcase Best Vehicle Wrapping Project


The first ever Sign & Digital Awards were presented at a special evening held at the Birmingham Motorcycle Museum on 13th April this year. The judges were looking for creativity, innovation and impact when choosing winners and they certainly weren’t disappointed with this year’s entries. Featured is a selection of photos from the projects and awards presentations; congratulations also go to the following winners.

Using the optical illusion of an x-ray to promote the transparency key to Foxton’s core values, Raccoon wrapped 264 cars in 15 days to create a truly mesmerising fleet and win best Vehicle Wrapping Project. The judges also celebrated Pyramid Visuals as highly commended for their brilliant entry.


Attracting more than 20 entries, the Best Individual Sign Project category was keenly fought. The winner of this category was Vision Visual Solutions. Using high density LED strips to emit light along etched lines in polycarbonate panels, Vision Visual solutions created flight in the 50 butterflies that float five metres above the heads of diners in the ITSU restaurant at Heathrow Terminal 5.


Best Multiple Sign Project


Photocast Products won the Best Multiple Sign Project category, designed to showcase a campaign or business project involving more than six signs. Using its deep chemical etching system, Photocast products answered Blackburn Council’s request for quality signage to help visitors find their way around 16 historical local sites with elegant cast bronze plaques that will stand the test of time.
