Spectrum Signs has more than 25 years experience in the sign industry. The team produces high quality work for large shop fitting to small door signs as well as screen printing, engraving, vehicle graphics, self-adhesive vinyl graphics, work-wear, embroidery, obscure frosted window films, digital printing and laminating and general signs. Based in Southampton Winchester Road, Southampton within
close proximity to other large retailers, the company attracts a lot of local business but also travels often to other locations within the UK and has sent signs abroad, even as far away as Ghana in Africa.
Spectrum Signs and Workwear Ltd’s customers range from
large companies such as GE Aerostructures, Freightliner, Colas Rail, EWS, Arlington Fleet Services, Zurich Insurance, Ordnance Survey, ABP, PMP Logistics, SCA Recycling, to smaller organisations such as local clubs, hospitals, or churches requiring banners or one-off signs. Pete Foley, who established Spectrum
Signs and Workwear and is Director, says: “The skill base of the staff and the personal service we offer customers means we can get to know the customer and understand their requirements, thus providing a higher quality finish product. “We regularly go out on location to
carry out surveys and provide quotes for customers. Signs and work-wear are necessary in most business sectors and thanks to our range of machinery and skilled staff, we are able to meet most customer requirements.” The majority of work is found through
larger companies, requiring train, lorry or van wraps and graphics as well as door signs and banners. In addition, the company supplies a range of intricately cut stencils and embroidered work-wear to a number of companies. A new dimension to Spectrum Signs
and Workwear’s product range are full colour glass splashbacks for kitchens. These are sold via the Spectrum Signs and Workwear shop on Ebay and are proving very popular. “The splashbacks are unique; due to our ability to produce a high quality product
