Allen Signs up for Superbike Challenge
Sign maker and engraver Allen Signs is helping to launch a new superbike team which will compete in the Rapid Solicitors Ducati 848 Challenge 2011. This year's 848 Challenge, which will be showcased at the
London Motorcycle Show in July 2011, joins the British Superbike Championship as an official support series for the first time. Allen Signs was responsible for developing the team’s branding. Firstly they drew up the plans for the designs based on the
identity they had previously created for Ultimate Retail Solutions, as well as the other sponsors. Secondly, they prepared two identical sets of motorbike fairings
and then painted them in three stages. All the logos were printed using a combination of 3M IJ40 and IJ180 white on Allen Signs’ JV33. A third set of fairings are currently being completed, as well as
a pit bike which is being painted with the same designs. A support vehicle sporting the team’s branding is also being liveried with the team’s branding to complement the bikes. In addition to creating the branding and
graphics for Ultimate Retail Solutions Racing, Allen Sign’s Operations Manager, Lee Wilson, will be on the team along with his brother Steven and rider Mark Andrews. “It will be fantastic to see the bike, which has
been designed and painted by Allen Signs’ specialist vehicle livery team, in action on some of the most iconic circuits in the UK and Europe,” said Lee. Lee’s fellow team member and Managing
Director of Ultimate Retail Solutions, Steven Wilson, said: “I am looking forward to what should be an exciting and high-profile series. “The team at Allen Signs has done a

Holland & Barrett is healthy for Mid West Displays
Mid West Displays Ltd has proudly been working alongside the ever popular high street health care chain, Holland & Barrett. It has taken 18 months, lots of measurements, drawings and hard work to organise 128 window display refits up and down the country. The window displays have been specially designed for Holland
& Barrett, they consist of bespoke size poster systems, suspended using 1.5mm cables, glass shelving units and a series of different sized acrylic steps. Each store had to be individually surveyed to ensure the displays would fit. The new window displays can be seen in 128 stores
throughout England, Wales and Scotland. An installation team of over 20 installed the displays from start to finish within a month, which is a great achievement, especially considering no one store is the same as the next. Mid West Displays is based in the historic town of Shrewsbury,
Shropshire. They have recently unveiled a whole range of new products including triangular and square rotating displays not to mention its very popular light panels, all of which can be seen in the show room.
