We have quite a busy edition this month especially with the latest news of The Great Harwood Agricultural Show. You can now book in advance and save valuable time queuing on the day. See pages 10 & 11. 12th May is Limerick day, so guess what? We’ve got lots of daft Limericks, some about the Herald’s Angels. Plus a little competition if you fancy writing a Limerick yourself. See page 27. Our recent themes of awareness days have been quite popular, so we have more on page 6, but they get more and more bizarre. Who dreamt this one up….??? “Be nice to Nettles week.” We kid you not. The Month of May also sees British Butty Week, so you have a chance to vote for your favourite Butty Shop in our feature on page 12. You might even win a prize.
