Clare Turner opened her exclusive salon for ladies and gents, on Union Road, Oswaldtwistle, during October 2010 and brings to her salon a wealth of experience in hair and hair products. She began by renovating the salon giving it a light spacious feel and also creating a certain “feel good factor”. She was joined by Jade in February this year, who is also a qualified hair stylist with a wealth of experience. Red Rose Coaches started in Rishton and was run by John Haydock, his son Steve soon joined the business at the age of 19, he drove part time. Shireen also worked part time as the hostess. Steve and Shireen married in 1991 and after John retired, took over the business, running one coach and doing National Express work. The business now has eight coaches and employ five family members full time and several local casual drivers. Sarah, the daughter in law works in the office, she is married to Lee, the son of Steve and Shireen. Lee drives for the company doing tour work along with Neil, another driver, who is Lee’s best friend. Andy, Shireen’s brother is also a driver for the company. We are fortunate to have Dale Campbell as our mechanic who maintains the vehicles to a very high standard. There is a noticeable increase in passengers since the economic downfall. Tours can be found on the website for the UK and various European locations to include Ostend, Paris and Disneyland, ranging from 4-5 days. Tours can be arranged for groups and social clubs.
