The Rider is one of the WHAO's longest sponsors. Each issue, you will find information what is happening with the WHAO on a dedicated page. As a bonus to our members, the Rider offers a free years subscription to their publication. The last three years, Barry has also shared his booth space at Can-Am so that the WHAO can sell tickets on the raffle. It is generous sponsors such as The Rider that help to keep the WHAO going.

Norfolk County Fair and Burford Agri- cultural Society have been long time spon- sors of the WHAO. They are as traditional to show enthusiasts as turkey for Thanksgiv- ing weekend. The Norfolk County Fair western show is held on Sunday. The facili- ties at the fair include a large sand ring and all the fun you can handle! There are no standardbred races but there is some heavy horse activity. Prize money is given out the day of the fair, so you can stock up on that great fair food! (don't forget to pick it up)

noise of the rides. There is usually entertain- ment in the grand stand that exhibitors can enjoy. Join the WHAO Thanksgiving week- end for the last shows of the season.

Ancaster Fair is always a great show. This year it will be held at their new facility, so check their website for details. Peter Emick and his crew always put on an excellent show with great prize money. It offers the popular versatility class, which is an exhibitor favorite. There are no horse races to spook your horse.

Herb and Jean Towers are life long sup- porters of the WHAO. Herb has been with the WHAO since its' inception and is a life member. He has retired from our judge's list but continues to support the association with a sponsorship, words of wisdom and encour- agement. Herb is a big supporter of youth in the show pen, as they are our future.

Don Stauffer is senior judge with the WHAO. Each year with his membership he sends his additional support and sponsors a class. Don enjoys his judging and has his Canadian Appaloosa card. Don and his fam- ily live in Orangeville area and he continues to volunteer with the Orangeville Agricul- tural Society.
