Earlier this year Ray Smith, 2008 ORA Pickup Man of the Year and ORA Life Mem- ber was injured in a horse accident in New York. As his therapy continues, at a significant price, the Rodeo and Roping Community is hosted a Benefit Roping for one of their own. The roping was held at the Wildcolt Ranch in Gadshill, Ontario on October 30th. Com- petitors came from all over Ontario as well as New York and Michigan. The day started off with Steer Wrestling, won by Tim Kemp, followed by Rodney Weese and Jacob DeWeter- ing. Tim got 2 steers down with a total time of 9.5 seconds.
