Accrington Market Hall has opened its doors on Wednesdays for the first time in it’s history. This will be a trial period for 3 months where you will able to shop on the market 6 days a week. To launch the Wednesday opening there has been an array of celebrities visiting the market.


Sean Wilson (Martin Platt Coronation Street) who now has his own cheese business in Garstang gave a talk and visitors where able to sample 4 of his cheeses, Muldoon's Picnic, a Crumbly Award winning Lancashire Cheese, Smelly Apeth, a gold medal winning Blue Cheese, 'How's Yer Father' a mild cheese. Tracy, one of our Heralds Angels is now a cheese convert to 'Mouth Almighty' a Lancashire Tasty.
