Celebrations for Afghan Heroes First Anniversary
September 15th
is Afghan Heroes First Anniversary, and to celebrate Expats 4 Afghan Heroes and other supporters have organised a month of events to congratulate Afghan Heroes on achieving so much in so little time. All Afghan Heroes fundraisers are volunteers, so none of your contributions go to paying wages, and will be used for the fallen and their families who have fought in Afghanistan. As a special thank you, Expats 4 AH will be giving a gift to everyone who attends selected shows and there will also be Anniversary special offers during September only. 3rd and 4th 4pm
3 tickets for 5 Euros could win you a 50 Euros Iceland voucher, a pair of emerald and diamond earrings from Quesada Gold Centre, gym membership to Howards Gym, a DVD player or even tickets to Benidorm Palace. The draw will take place at 4pm on Saturday 4th
. 11th /12th – Solid silver 60’s Night
Wayne Fontana and Dave Berry will be performing for 3 more sell-out shows, with part of the profits being donated to Expats 4 Afghan Heroes. Catch this show at Pizzeria Asturias on Saturday 11th

13th – Elite Entertainment present “The Michael Buble

15th – Black, White n Orange Afghan Heroes 1st Anniversary
Party. Bar Washington, Calle Flecha, La Siesta – from 8.30pm. Starring Cathy Carson, Andy Jones, TAABS and special guest Nick Barker. Spot prizes and stand up bingo. Tickets for this special night are only 5 Euros and will include BBQ and Indian food. Tickets are available from Bar Washington, The Post Room Benijofar, and by calling Jackie on 697501992. – Competition winner announced on TKO Jackie will be announcing the winner of the 2 nights in Benidorm Competiton on The Suzy G show on TKO. Listen in between 5pm and 8pm to see if you have won 2 nights at the Rosamar Hotel half board plus 50 Euros spending money!
16th 17th – Afghan Heroes 1st Anniversary Party

This event will be opened by TKO’s Racheal Angus and is to be filmed by VIVA TV. Performing will be L A Big Band, Jingle Belles morris dancers, Cathy Carson, TAABS and The Iceni Dancers. We will be having Pricilla the tarot reader, stalls, a raffle and an auction as well as a BBQ. Tickets are now available to buy from La Marina Bar for 2 Euros. Auction items now being taken.
