We Want You!
The Royal British Legion in Spain work tirelessly to maintain services to our beneficiaries and Members all year around. We endeavor to collect money throughout the year for the Poppy Appeal which helps us to keep our commitment to our beneficiaries here in Spain. The Poppy Appeal is highlighted during October and November when the poppys are worn but I would ask that throughout the year, give a thought to those in need and spare a euro or two into the All Year Poppy Boxes that you will see dotted around bars and restaurants. If any shop, bar or restaurant wants a collecting box please contact the District Poppy Appeal Co-coordinator Tony on Tel:626583689 if you are in need of help or don’t know if you are eligible for our assistance just call Wendy Tel: 676451780 (10 – 6pm Mon – Fri). We are currently looking for a District Secretary to assist in the running of the District North of Spain which covers an area from the French Border to Almeria. If you feel you have the organisational skills required along with a computer at home and have time on your hands and looking for a challenge, then we would be pleased to hear from you.
