OEF Partners with Agribrands

The Ontario Equestrian Feder- ation (OEF) is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Agribrands Purina Canada

Together, over the next three years, the OEF and Agribrands Purina Canada Inc. will be providing OEF members with various pro- motions on both Purina horse feed and Loyall Premium Pet Food, equine nutrition informa- tion and educational tools to promote the importance of horse and rider safety. The OEF and Agribrands Purina Canada Inc. mutually value safety. Working together, OEF and Agribrands will be creating educa- tional resources to ensure that all horse enthu- siasts make safety their number one priority. Everything from helmet safety to proper han- dling practices to farm safety will be addressed using various initiatives. In addition to safety, the OEF and Agri- brands Purina Canada Inc. are committed to providing OEF members with current nutri- tion information and updates on a regular basis. Supplying OEF members with the tools to help them effectively manage their feed programs will assist in the overall health and well being of their horses.

Uxbridge Horseman’s Association Everything
Equine Trade Show Elgin Park, Uxbridge ON - May 15, 2010
The Everything Equine Trade Show is an annual event hosted by the Uxbridge Horse- man’s Association. Vendors from all over the Ontario come to pro- vide discounts, products, and information to visitors. The event also features several demonstra- tions and educational clinics from a variety of professionals.
Doors Open Toronto Horse Palace, Exhibition Place, Toronto ON - May 29-30, 2010 Doors Open Toronto is a popular annual citywide celebra- tion featuring free access to archi- tecturally, historically, culturally and socially significant buildings. In recognition of heightened pub- lic awareness of architecture and the architects who have shaped this city, Doors Open Toronto is going back to its roots: architec- ture is the theme and central focus in 2010. The 150 buildings will highlight their unique architec- tural features and stories provid- ing an authentic urban adventure
that celebrates Toronto’s architec- tural excellence from urban to suburban, blockhouses to bank towers. The Horse Palace was constructed in 1931 and is described as being one of Toron- to’s best examples of Art Deco architecture.

Toronto Horse Day Horse Palace, Exhibition Place, Toronto ON - June 12, 2010 Come and celebrate the sec- ond annual Toronto Horse Day on Saturday June 12, 2010. The OEF, Riding Academy at the Horse Palace, Toronto Police Ser- vices Mounted Unit, Greehawk, EquiMania! and Agribrands Puri- na Canada are hosting a free day for Toronto to experience horses first hand. People of all ages will have the opportunity to learn the basics of horsemanship through a fun and interactive program that will include riding and driving demonstrations, interactive educa- tion stations, a tour of the police barn, and much more!
