Endurance Canada Announces WEG Declared Riders
Ottawa, ON—The Endurance Canada International Committee is pleased to announce the declared riders and horses for the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games to be held in Lexington, KY September 25—October 10, 2010.
The qualification period for final selection continues until July 15, 2010 after which the squad and alternate lists will be announced.

A current ranking list will be released shortly, and will be based on competition results to March 12, 2010. Thereafter an updated ranking list will be posted monthly based on the results submitted to that time.
28th Annual CTHS Awards
The 28th Annual Canadian Thoroughbred Horse Society (CTHS) Awards, a celebration in recognition of the Out- standing Thoroughbred Breeders of 2009, will be held the evening of Satur- day, June 12th at Copper Creek Golf Club, 11191 Highway #27 in Kleinburg, Ontario.
The event will honour the breeders of Ontario- Bred Stakes winners in 2009, as well as recognize the accomplishments of our Ontario stallions. Also included in the evening’s festivities will be a silent auction with items kindly donated by members and friends of the Thorough- bred community as well as 2011 seasons from some exceptional Ontario stal- lions. All proceeds from the silent auction will go to the LongRun Thorough- bred Retirement Society. The event begins with cocktails at 6:00 p.m. fol- lowed by dinner and the awards presentation at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $75.00 + GST ($78.75) and may be obtained by contacting the CTHS office at 416-675- 3602.
Can-Am All Breeds Show The Canadian Thor- oughbred Horse Society (CTHS) Ontario and National offices both took part in the 2010 Can-Am All Breeds Equine Empori-
um, which was held at the Western Fair Agriplex in London, Ontario from March 19th to the 21st. The three-day Expo provided the CTHS staff with the opportunity to pro- vide information materials and act as a liaison for the CTHS organization.

Volunteering for Lon- gRun Thoroughbred Retirement Society allows the opportunity to do your part in finding loving, adoptive homes for thor- oughbreds after their racing days are over. LongRun volunteers have the oppor- tunity to interact with the horses, as well as make new friends and have fun at various LongRun events throughout the year.
LongRun is looking for volunteers to help with farm inspections, adoption follow-ups, fund raising and special events.
