President’s Message
The Ontario Trail Riders Associa- tion celebrated our 40th anniversary at our AGM on April 18th. We had a good turnout and some ideas arose from the morning meeting for the Board to investigate. We owe a big thank you to Mantracker, Terry Grant who entertained us with stories from the show for the afternoon. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the cele- bration.

Thank you for your help Ann and I’m sure we’ll see you on the trails. We have two new Directors, Shirley Bodnar- chuk and Morris Radomsky. We look forward to working with them.
Ontario Trail Riders Association OTRA AGM Special Report
The Ontario Trail Riders Associa- tion Annual General Meeting was held in Barrie, Ontario on April 18, 2010. This meeting celebrated OTRA’s 40th anniversary and included an awards presentation to our long standing mem- bers, some of whom had been members since OTRA was founded. Members were entertained by a special guest, TV celebrity Mantracker, aka Terry Grant. Terry gave us a behind-the-scenes view of the Outdoor Living Network show which is entering its 6th season. He gra- ciously signed all autograph requests
and posed for many pictures with our members.
Board elections were held with 2 new directors joining the board and 4 directors returning, along with 5 direc- tors who are beginning the second year of a two year term. At the May board meeting directors will decide which responsibilities will be assumed by each board member.

Erin Rodeo Goes For The Buckle Again
In 2009, the Erin Rodeo was awarded the “Ontario Rodeo Association Rodeo Of The Year”. On June 5th and 6th, 2010, organizers hope to retain the title. Once again, the Erin Ag Society has partnered with Rawhide Rodeo Company to bring Erin-Hillsburgh the excitement of Western Action Sports Entertainment.
The event kicks off Saturday morning with high spirited young rodeo talent taking the spotlight with the Ontario High School Rodeo. On Saturday and Sunday afternoons, profes- sionals from all over North America present the professional- ly sanctioned Rawhide Rodeo featuring World Champion cowboys and cowgirls. Rodeo clown Dewayne “the soul man” will entertain fans of all ages and will be joined by the Calgary Stampede Parade winners, and the Canadian Cow- girls Drill Team. Calling the action is Erin’s own Joe Scully, proRodeo MC and high energy host.
Highlighting the event will be the World Champion bucking bulls and broncs of the Rawhide Rodeo Company. Saturday evening will be sure to tempt your taste buds with a home made steak dinner with all the fixing. After supper, the stage will feature LIVE music with the Muir Family Band! At various times throughout the weekend, a kids’ favourite, The Stylamanders will entertain the younger crowds. Tickets can be purchased online using PayPal. See ad in this Rider for contact info.
