About the Brooklin Spring Fair – “Put A Spring In Your Tractor” The Brooklin Spring Fair is a long standing tradi- tion in the town of Brooklin. The Fair is run by a volunteer Board of Directors that meet once a month to plan for the following year. In 2010, the Fair is celebrating its 99th anniversary, and has been operating at its pre- sent location, Luther Vipond Memorial Arena and Community Park, since 1921. Early Fairs consisted of light & heavy horse shows, beef & dairy cattle show, races and a soccer game to finish the festivities. Today the Fair offers a taste of both the country and town with many agricultural displays and activities, including an Agricultural Aware-

ness Tent, Antique Tent, livestock shows, horse shows and Homecraft, as well as newer attractions like a Winch Jam demo, FMX show, Spring Sing youth talent show and a giant walk- through whale!
