Advantech-Innocore the gaming focused business group of Advantech Corp, announces the new DPX-S1435 gaming system. The DPX-S1435 is a complete gaming system combining the unrivalled performance of Advantech-Innocore’s DPX-S435 motherboard with the convenience and functionality of the new DPX-S1000 enclosure.
Adding a new dimension to the DPX-S series range, the new S1000 enclosure is a gaming system logic box designed to accommodate any of Advantech’s DPX-S series motherboards in style and with excellent access to the interior behind a casino grade key-locked lid.
The DPX-S1435 system has a card slot bay for a PCI-Express graphics card that is wide enough for today’s high powered double- width graphics cards giving the customer the ability to upgrade from the integrated graphics or add more monitors (up to 7 or more). For mass storage the system includes a quick release carrier with shock mounting for solid state disk or hard drive.

The DPX-S1435 is available now and was shown at the Global Gaming Expo tradeshow in Las Vegas.

Components Quixant
The QXi-306 is the latest in Quixant’s range of gaming platforms and is designed specifically to comply with the new Comma 6a+ (AWP3) law, which is expected to be introduced imminently. Once passed, this law will require the replacement of 400,000 slot machines across Italy within the next 2-3 years.
The QXi-306 from Quixant uses the very latest AMD x 86 technologies to deliver a high performance, low-power gaming platform with all the features necessary to design state of the art compliant gaming machines for the Italian slot machine market.

Category C Reflex Gaming
Reflex Gaming will unveil a new concept in digital Category C gaming, with a compendium designed to move through retailer rent bands, in exactly the same way as a reel-based game. Royal £100 is a ten-game digital compendium housed in Reflex’s Video Atom cabinet, that will be available to rent on a two-year contract, during which time it will be supplied with fresh proven content from Reflex, including hi-tech and slot style games.
Royal £100 will be provided to operators for the rental term, allowing them to move the machines to new locations, or update existing ones on site. Once the two years is through, operators simply return the machines back to Reflex.
“We have examined the existing methods for introducing digital to the Category C retail sector and so far we feel they have, in the main, failed,” says Quentin Stott, Managing Director of Reflex Gaming. “The problem is that the investment for many operators is too onerous and then the machines are supposed to stay on the same piece of carpet for years and years to be updated with new games.”
