Review G2E LAS VEGAS 2014 - PART 1

BEST SEAT IN THE HOUSE

Decadent quality mixed with high-tech gaming solutions on the Patir Design booth at G2E aimed at VIP players

Showing its exquisite range of custom-designed casino chairs at the G2E gaming exhibition for the eighth year running, Germany’s Patir Design continued to warmly welcome customers from around the world to its stand at this year’s event. Providing a quality alternative to domestic US manufacturers, the Patir designs are very different, delivering high quality, robust chairs for all aspects of casino use.

“We have provided chairs for a number of

medium-scale casinos in the US and have numerous enquiries from this show to follow up,” detailed Mr. Patir at the Vegas show. “Our designs are very individual and most of our US customers prefer the elaborate designs, especially the gold and white combinations from the Diamond Collection. The ‘Made in Germany’ factor is definitely a selling point

here too, with international customers recognising the build quality and reliability that comes with a German-branded product.”

It’s noticeable that the preferred chairs for the US market predominately lack armrests, a design feature that can restrict the movement and encumber some of the larger casino clientele. However, there’s one chair in the Patir line-up in which the armrests are integral to the design and that’s the Cobra chair. Designed for VIP customers and used as part of the Novomatic VIP range, it’s a chair that enables the player to completely recline and relax, with buttons built into the arms of the chair to control the game. “We will be preparing new designs to launch at the ICE show in London with much more emphasis on the integration of technology in chairs,” said Mr. Patir. “This is definitely a trend for the future.”
