Review G2E LAS VEGAS 2014 - PART 1 GTECH ADDS NEW TITLES TO TRUE 3D LINE-UP

Enthused by the success of SPHINX 3D, GTECH was showcasing an expanded library of True 3D titles in Las Vegas, with four new titles specifically designed to appeal to different player segments. Making their world debuts were Bejeweled 3D, Dragon’s Temple 3D, Dreams of Asia 3D and Aladdin’s Fortune 3D, each sporting GTECH’s amazing glasses-free True 3D display technology.

At the G2E show in Las Vegas, Marcel Heutmekers, GTECH Vice President Commercial Gaming, International, described the phenomenal success of the True 3D range: “In the US, Sphinx 3D has been installed in 21 states, including Nevada, California, New Jersey and Connecticut, including Foxwoods.

“In Latin America the game has been installed in Panama and Aruba, whilst in Europe we’ve had installations in Germany, Italy, Spain, Cyprus, Estonia, Latvia, and Slovenia. Feedback has been superb across all these markets, so we expect these latest 3D titles to follow suit,” said Mr. Heutmekers. “This is a premium product, and in addition to the success of our diversity multi- game, this title is driving up our overall slots share.

“We’re also seeing some exciting developments in Europe, where we are now providing direct sales and service for gaming machines in France through GTECH France, which this summer was

awarded its own license to sell directly to the market.”

The company’s Community product line was boosted at G2E by the launches of Bejeweled Community and Zuma Adventures, both available in a three-game configuration. Bejeweled Community features two entertaining base games as well as a variety of randomly triggered Bejeweled Bonuses and the interactive Community Bonus. Zuma Adventures offers two unique base games, market-proven Community bonus eligibility and three innovative Community bonuses.

GTECH’s line-up also includes yet another internationally-recognised licensed title from the exciting DEAL OR NO DEAL franchise, with the newest version in the series, DEAL OR NO DEAL Las Vegas! Using the MaXVusion cabinet and featuring Howie Mandel and the DEAL OR NO DEAL ladies, this brand-new title is set against a glamorous Las Vegas backdrop and offers two

base games that share a unique middle reel that only contains wilds and bonus triggers. The bonus is played during and intermittently throughout the base game. The Money Drop, offering two base games and highly interactive players’ choice bonuses, completes GTECH’s licensed product offering.

Completing the North American casino product line-up is a diverse portfolio of core games with a balanced mix, including the evolution of perennial successes, new and innovative concepts, and games specifically designed for high denom play. For international customers, GTECH was featuring linked products such as the award-winning Action Jackpots, a unique novelty product offering four different progressive links tied into one single gaming machine. Brand-new game suites were on display for the successful diversity™ multigame, as well as a selection of new core games.

Specifically for the Latin American market, GTECH was showcasing Peruvian Riches, a mystery jackpot that can be run with nearly any core game from GTECH’s extensive core games library. The new prodiGi Vu My Choice multigame offers nine different suites with four popular and proven games each, as well as attractive frame lights that stand out on the casino floor.
