Reiki students achieve success!


Lynne Roberts and Elaine Guest recently qualified with their ReikiMaster and teacher, JillYvette, to Second Degree Reiki, and ReikiMaster and Teacher, respectively.


As a client who had experienced Jill’s ‘I wish... The Full Body Facial’, Lynne decided she wanted to have access to this treatment on tap, meanwhile Elaine’s training was sponsored by her local forward thinking NHS Cancer services department in Barnsley,West Yorkshire, who have a satellite beauty and complementary centre to help cancer patients in their well- being during and post cancer treatment.

Elaine now hopes to take what she has learnt back to her team – and train other therapists herself in Reiki for the benefit of the cancer patient treatments.

New College Programme Manager appointed


The International Institute forAnti-Ageing (iiaa) has appointed Jennifer Edwards as College ProgrammeManager to lead a comprehensive suite of on-site student training courses, free careers workshops and co-operative events to beauty education establishments.


Having worked for the iiaa for five years in areamanagement roles, Jennifer now brings a wealth of experience gained from over 11 years in the industry to her new role.

HD Brows have released their training programme for 2014.


Those interested in learning the HD Brows techniques will need to begin their training with the brand’s two day intensive courses, which will teach you everything you need to know and includes all the equipment, tools and products you’ll need to start offering this treatment to your clients straightaway. Once qualified, you can then go onto access the advanced courses on offer such as the Pro andMasters classes.


Courses are scheduled to take place every week of the year at one of the brand’s state of the art academies inYorkshire and Milton Keynes, or at their approved partner academies in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
