Pacific and Transport Leasing. To date, there hasn’t been much out there in the way of “modern” TOFC cars. Micro-Trains has been issuing and reissuing their 89′-4″ TOFC flat car for years now. However, other mod- els are available but aren’t the best models as far as operation and detail- ing go. This Trainworx Pullman-Stan- dard car is a much needed addition to the world of N scale intermodal. I really like the fact that Trainworx
chose to equip these cars with body mounted Micro-Trains couplers. Body mounted couplers make the car track much better than truck mounted cou- plers. If you have ever tried to back a long string of cars through switches and curves, you will know what I am saying. Micro-Trains couplers are one of the best N scale couplers on the mar- ket; so this was a smart move on the part of Trainworx. These cars are also equipped with Fox Valley Models
