As the Cedric track uses a digital female voice we decided to create a robotic style woman, filmed in a green room at a studio in LA. We had her say the words to the song intro and then we dropped futuristic visuals layered over the top as she asks the crowd to help her find ‘Molly’. The aim is to create both a realistic look combined with a digital world that builds up into a crescendo, just as the track does.

“Morgan and his team at Future Visual created a next level AV In- tro for my show at EDC. Cannot wait for his new intro for Ultra Miami”

- Cedric Gervais

The AV Intro Evolves from show to show. The customized vocal is changed for some of Cedric’s larger shows and even for his new residency at XS in Las Vegas. As the intro changes so do the fol- low up visuals on this piece, a custom look and feel is essential to compliment either the venue, or the stage rig.

Quick Tip: When creating an AV Intro, remember that it’s not just about it looking pretty cool on your computer or TV, will it look eye catching when projected on the large festival screens? Visualize how it will look to the audience in that environment, think of them and how they will see the intro.

Whats Next? Well if we told you then it wouldn’t be a surprise for the many people who will be attending Ultra this year. All we can say is we’re planning something special for Cedric’s performance on the Main Stage at Ultra Miami on Saturday 23rd March 2013. Cedric Gervais - Molly (AV Intro) Produced by Future Visual.
