Anti-ageing and preventive medicine Educational sessions relating to effective and safe anti-ageing medicine are an important part of the AMWC 2013. New sessions will be featured this year, which will
cover chrono-ageing, fatigue and
aesthetics, Russian sessions on anti-ageing medicine, and diseases from foetus to adult. The foetal and puberty periods of life are
the most vulnerable stages and can shape a personÕs future health. A new revolutionary technique on wellbeing from birth will be presented for the very first time. Recent findings and perspectives on the FOAD hypothesis will be presented during 'From Fetus to Adult Diseases'. Anti-ageing updates will be covered in
the following sessions: 'Our Gut Impact on Ageing', 'Cytokines and Ageing', 'Muscles for Life', 'Functional and Integrative Medicine', and many more.

One of the most anticipated sessions,
'Cytokines and Ageing: The State-of-the-Art of the Anti-Ageing Medicine' will focus on cytokine modulation, dysregulation and rebalancing in relation to ageing, nutrition, gut ecology, and hormonal imbalance. Two transversal sessions are 'Modern
Gynecology and Aesthetics', in which anti-ageing, aesthetics, and gynaecology are discussed; and '100th
Anniversary Maillard
Reaction', in which new innovations in anti- ageing and cosmetics will be featured. In addition, leading speakers will present
lectures on telomeres, metabolic tuning for fatigue, the voice, Sirtuins (longevity genes), and the secret importance of serotonin.
Additional sessions A fat symposium and LED academy will be two of the most attended sessions of the congress. The 'Fat or Fiction' sessions will provide a review and update on different body shaping devices. An interactive discussion during the LED academy session will focus on enhancing photobiomodulation.
Innovations The newly established sessions by the International Academy of Cosmetic Gynecology (IACOSGYN) will focus on the secrets of cosmetic gynaecology. A session on marketing, entitled 'How to Get the Best From Your Practice', will cover diverse subjects ranging from dealing with difficult patients, to how to organise and integrate anti-ageing into aesthetic practice.
Industry showcase In addition to the scientific programme, more than 50 sponsored symposia with live demonstrations will showcase the leading products and latest technologies in the industry. Considered as the largest congress and one not to be missed in the calendar, industry leaders will exhibit at the AMWC 2013.
