Transfer the positions of the queen posts from the floor to the end sill. Drill No. 67 holes and insert Tichy truss rod ends. Locate Tichy 18″ drop grabs just inside the truss rod ends. They go in grooves cut into the bottom of the end sill. A few strokes of a No. 13 saw blade makes the groove just deep enough for the grabs to be flush with the bottom of the end sill. A bit of gap filling cyano- acrylate firmly holds the grabs. With the wire grabs secure, add Tichy nut- bolt-washers above each and trim the grabs flat on the back of the sill. Open the holes in the Tichy brake gear housings with a No. 63 bit to ac- cept the stems of the Kadee brake wheels. Glue them in place centered and with their bottoms 5′-0″ from the end sill. Add a length of Campbell chain from the bottom of the brake gear housing to the end sill. A Tichy .030″ rivet forms the door

handle.

sides and ends with Testors Gloss- cote. When the Glosscote no longer has an aroma, apply the lettering as wet decals. Set it with your favorite solution. When all the liquids are dry,

seal the lettering with Dullcote. I find the lettering to be too bright.

To blend it into the car color I very lightly spray the entire side and end pieces with a fine mist of CNW Green. Cut a strip of clear .010″ styrene 4′-

0″ high; then slice it into twelve 3′-0″ wide pieces. Glue these vertically in- side the windows to cover the full height. Glue four pieces of Grandt Line .020″ brown plastic rod vertically in- side each window. Note, however, that
