5530 Adult Gold Pairs
ADULT GOLD PAIRS WELL-BALANCED FREE SKATE 3:40 maximum time
Must contain the following elements in any order LIFTS
Maximum of three two* different lifts • One may be a twist lift (no limit to the number of revolutions)
• If lifts are from the same group, they must be different (e.g. one star and one platter, both from Group 3)
• Minimum of one revolution by the lady • Minimum of one-half and maximum of 3½ revolutions by the man
• Variations of the lady’s position, no-handed, one- handed and combination lifts are permitted
• Carry lifts and lifts that include a carry feature are not permitted
STEP OR SPIRAL
SEQUENCE
Maximum of one* element chosen from: • One* choreographic step sequence (straight line, circular or serpentine) utilizing the full ice surface OR
• One* choreographic spiral sequence (consisting of at least two spiral positions held by both partners for three seconds each or one spiral position held by both partners for six seconds)
Notes: • A sequence that meets the minimum requirements above will be awarded a fixed base value and evaluated by the judges in GOE
• A sequence that does not meet the minimum requirements above will have no value
• Additional moves in the field, spiral sequences and step sequences will not be counted as elements but will be counted as transitions and marked as such (for exception to this, see “Additional Element”)

4510 Championship Masters Junior-Senior Test qualifications as of the closing date for entries: skaters must have passed at least one of the following: A. The standard novice free skate test; B. Prior to Oct. 1, 1977, the 4th figure test; C. On or after Oct. 1, 1977, and prior to Oct. 1, 1979, the 8th figure test.
4520 Masters Senior Test qualifications as of the closing date for entries: skaters must have passed at least one of the following: A. The standard junior free skate test;
B. Prior to Oct. 1, 1977, the 6th figure test; C. On or after Oct. 1, 1977, and prior to Oct. 1, 1979, the 8th figure test.
4530 Masters Junior Test qualifications as of the closing date for entries: skaters must have passed at least one of the following:
A. The standard novice free skate test and on or after Oct. 1, 1995, no higher than the standard junior free skate test;
B. Prior to Oct. 1, 1977, the 4th figure test and no higher than the 7th figure test;
C. On or after Oct. 1, 1977, and prior to Oct. 1, 1979, the 8th figure test.
4540 Championship Masters Intermediate-Novice Test qualifications as of the closing date for entries: skaters must have passed at least one of the following:
A. The standard intermediate free skate test and: 1. On or after Oct. 1, 1977, and prior to Oct. 1, 1991, no higher than the standard junior free skate test;
2. On or after Oct. 1, 1991, no higher than the standard novice free skate test;
B. Prior to Oct. 1, 1977, the 3rd figure test and no higher than the 4th figure test;
C. On or after Oct. 1, 1977, and prior to Oct. 1, 1979, the 8th figure test.
If a skater has previously qualified to compete at the U.S. Adult Fig- ure Skating Championships in Championship Masters Junior-Senior, said skater cannot compete in Championship Masters Intermediate- Novice.
4550 Masters Novice Test qualifications as of the closing date for entries: skaters must have passed at least one of the following:
A. The standard intermediate free skate test and: 1. On or after Oct. 1, 1977, and prior to Oct. 1, 1991, no higher than the standard junior free skate test;
2. On or after Oct. 1, 1991, no higher than the standard novice free skate test;
B. Prior to Oct. 1, 1977, the 3rd figure test and no higher than the 5th figure test;
C. On or after Oct. 1, 1977, and prior to Oct. 1, 1979, the 8th figure test.
4560 Masters Intermediate Test qualifications as of the closing date for entries: skaters must have passed at least one of the following:
A. The standard intermediate free skate test and: 1. On or after Oct. 1, 1977, and prior to Oct. 1, 1991, no higher than the standard junior free skate test;
2. On or after Oct. 1, 1991, no higher than the standard novice free skate test;

4570 Championship Adult Gold and Adult Gold Test Qualifications as of the closing date for entries: A. Skaters must have passed at least one of the following: 1. The adult gold free skate test; 2. The standard juvenile free skate test, and: a. Prior to Oct. 1, 1991, no higher than the standard intermediate free skate tests;
b. On or after Oct. 1, 1991, no higher than the standard juvenile free skate test; If a skater has passed the standard juvenile free skate test on or after Oct. 1, 1994, and no higher standard free skate tests, the skater must compete in adult gold.
3. Prior to Oct. 1, 1977, the 3rd figure test and no higher than the 5th figure test.
B. Skaters may have passed: 1. The 2nd figure test, and no higher, before Oct. 1, 1977. 2. Any figure tests or moves-in-the-field tests on or after Oct. 1, 1977., and prior to Oct. 1, 1979, except for the 8th figure test;
2. Any figure tests or moves-in-the-field tests on or after Oct. 1, 1979.
If a skater has previously qualified to compete at the U.S. Adult Fig- ure Skating Championships in Championship Masters Intermediate- Novice, said skater cannot compete in Championship Adult Gold.
4580 Adult Silver Test Qualifications as of the closing date for entries: A. Skaters must have passed at least one of the following: 1. The adult silver free skate test and no higher adult free skate tests;
2. Before Oct. 1, 1994, the standard juvenile free skate test and no higher standard free skate tests;
3. On or after Oct. 1, 1994, the standard pre-juvenile free skate test and no higher free skate tests;
