Servair


Boris Eloy Boris Eloy has been named as Servair’s new marketing and innovation director. The appointment will be in addition to his current role as director of communications which he has held since 2001. One of Boris’s new functions will be to manage the definition and implementation of Servair’s innovation strategy, which is intended to promote the group’s branding and culinary signature by capitalising on its culinary identity. Boris has also been charged with creating


the new Servair professional services and both organising and co-ordinating the company’s cookery division. In this respect, he will be working closely with Servair’s corporate chef Michel Quissac.


Gategroup


Celine Gordon Celine Gordon recently joined gategroup as director group marketing for the Americas and is


responsible for leading, developing, and coordinating marketing, commercial, and creative capability for the gategroup brands. Celine’s experience includes marketing, communications and business development roles, as well as programme management and sales positions, in firms specialising in management consulting, telecommunication, and shipping. Most recently, she worked with Maersk Line, responsible for the management of advertising, events and public relations strategies in the US and Canada.


Lufthansa


Christian Schindler Christian Schindler has been appointed as Lufthansa’s new general manager for the UK & Ireland at LHR following


Marianne Sammann’s transfer to Munich. Christian has been with Lufthansa for over 20 years and moves from gm of Lufthansa Korea. Christian was born in Kempten, Germany


and studied to become an air traffic agent. He received a diploma in Business Management from the university, Fernuniversität Hagen, in Germany during his second post as the network planning manager in 1996.

Abu Dhabi In-Flight Catering Company is a fast growing independent food production and logistics operation producing more than 30,000 airline meals per day. We are looking for an experienced professional to head up our multi-site food production team of almost 500 staff. The position is responsible for the efficient planning and coordination of the business’s food production activities, development of new products and improvement of quality and hygiene standards.


Suitable candidates will preferably be degree qualified and have significant food industry experience (not necessarily airline catering), detailed knowledge of conventional food processing methodologies (in particular cook chill operations), LEAN manufacturing and HACCP etc.
