Kiwi butter specialists Canary Food Innovators are now offering cream cheese and butter fillings for meat (such as apricot cream cheese) to add value to onboard meals. Canary offers a range of butter rosettes, medallions and sheets as well as flavoured butters such as wasabi. They can also emboss butter pats with branding.

3 CONNELLY COCKTAILS Offering pre-mixed cocktails with a twist, Connelly the Cocktail Makers separates the mixer from the alcohol using two separate cans bound together by a plastic band which doubles as a ring pull opener. The device means that the alcohol doesn’t react with the fruit juice, meaning less additives are needed and high quality fruit juices can be used. There are six varieties of cocktails including maitai and tequila sunrise.

Nescafe bought its Milano Beverage system to WTCE – using super premium ingredients in a machine format. Aimed at lounges and full- service restaurants, the system does a full range of coffees including espresso and macchiato.

The Italian pizza providers have produced a new type of packaging in association with Smurfit Kappa. The new technology incorporates a membrane into the box which keeps it sealed but disappears on heating, allowing steam to be released. New food products include muffins, pastries and tarts, defrostable, with a 72-hour after shelf life. The company is also introducing a new sweet and savoury combination box.
