25 ENROUTE A new range of luxury mini sandwiches, handmade in France using premium quality breads are available in two options: a duo of mini brioche with chicken Caesar and pain forestier with smoked smoked salmon and cream cheese, or a vegetarian duo of brioche with marinated tomato and a fougasse with goat’s cheese and pesto. The range has been created especially as a premium product for British Airways’s First and Business Class cabins.

The company launched its drink product in association with DSM, using its Fruitflow® as an active ingredient. Flyfit drinks support healthy bloodflow during flight and work for up to 18 hours. The natural, active ingredients can be taken with other medication and are derived from the seed of a tomato. Flavours include tropical and citrus fruits. Flyfit also offers a Vitamin C shot in a direct-to-mouth powder sachet. This helps reduce tiredness and fatigue and comes in blueberry and cranberry flavours. The Flyfit Combo is a muesli bar and drink and it comes in trays of 28, ready-packed for inflight trolleys.

GRASSHOPPER The all-in-one Hopper Pot was showcased at WTCE: a range of
porridge comes in a portable 60g pot with a folding spoon. Flavours are raisin and cinnamon, coconut and date and simply plain – with a dash of sugar. Sister product the Topper is a 60g pot of plain porridge with a bubble-shaped ‘topper’ attached to the pot containing either raisin and almond granola or apricot and cherry dried fruit mix.

CAIPI ONE Brazilian Company Caipi One served up some exotic cocktails made from fresh fruit at WTCE. Without additives, so 100% natural, the fruits are picked on location in Brazil and immediately processed into different Caipi cocktails, with flavours including mojito, caipirinha and pina colada.
