4: FC Polonia mówi, że złożyli formalną skargę do zarządu odnośnie potraktowania ich przez sędziego XXXX XXXX i otrzymali informację, że zarząd na nią odpowie po zakończeniu dochodzenia. Jak do tej pory nie otrzymali żadnej odpowiedzi. Czy spotkanie dochodzeniowe się odbyło i jaki był jego rezultat?


5: Klub również wspomina o skardze przeciwko drużynie Castlemilk United, która dopuściła się rasistowskich komentarzy w kierunku zawodników. Klub twierdzi, że zarząd nie zareagował na skargę. Jakie jest wasze stanowisko w tej kwestii?


W odpowiedzi, sekretarz ligi powiedziała, że miało miejsce (niesprecyzowane) śledztwo i nie chce


udzielić komentarza na żadne z zadanych pytań. Powiedziała, że przekazała naszego maila do Martina Bell ze szkockiego stowarzyszenia Futbolu amatorskiego.

Q3: How do you deal with complaints of racism from aFL clubs?


Q4: FC Polonia say they complained formally to you about the treatment they received from referee XXXX and were told that the committee would investigate and respond with their findings. so far, say the club, that response has not been forthcoming. did such a meeting take place and what was the outcome?


Q5: The club also say that they have complained about verbal abuse they have received from Castlemilk United, whose players have [made highly offensive remarks] according to the club, there has been no response to this from sCaFL. How do you respond to the club’s claim?


In response, the league secretary said there was an (unspecified) ongoing investigation taking place and


she did not wish to comment on any of the points raised. she said that she had referred our email to Martin Bell of the scottish amateur Football association.


despite contacting Mr Bell a number of times by telephone and emailing our questions to him he did not offer any response.


Polonia are not the first club to question the running of the sunday Central league. Rutherglen Vultures were in their fourth season in the league when they quit in February after a series of disagreements, mainly regarding fixture arrangements. Club secretary andy Mulholland said he felt issues were not being properly addressed and that league rules were being strictly applied without taking circumstances into consideration.


“There seemed to be a bit of favouritism towards the teams at the top,” he added. “eventually we decided we had enough and we walked away. We are now hoping to join another league after the summer break.”

dangers of racism / sectarianism. Scottish Premier League clubs and Scottish Football League clubs are major supporters of the campaign and work closely with us on our events at their clubs promoting equality and respect.


When racist / sectarian incidents are thought to have occurred at football


matches we are proactive in promoting our strong anti racism / anti-sectarianism stance.


Unfortunately, we are not a policy making body, we are an educational charity, therefore, formal complaints need to go direct to appropriate Scottish Football authorities and/or the Police.”
