Chatsford


Soledad Gili Soledad joins the team as marketing and customer services director. A graduate of the University of London and


Beijing University, Soledad is no stranger to the inflight services industry. She has lived on four continents and has spent the last 10 years in the USA. She now returns to her roots in Asia. In her new role, she will be responsible for


developing and expanding Chatsford’s customer base and evolving the Chatsford brand within a rapidly changing inflight service industry. Chatsford is a well-recognised provider and supplier to the airline industry and has been an active member of ITCA since 1983.


Cuisine Solutions Uyen Nguyen Uyen Nguyen joined Cuisine Solutions in January 2011 as their new marketing manager at their corporate headquarters


in Washington, DC. Prior to joining the ‘masters of sous vide’ Uyen worked in advertising and marketing within the food industry in Los Angeles for a large food retailer. Commenting on her new appointment, Uyen


said: “This is a very exciting time for Cuisine Solutions as we are expanding and have just been through a huge rebrand. My objective is to drive sales, maintain brand awareness and to attract new customers.”


OnAir


Richard Nordstrom OnAir has strengthened its North American operation with the appointment of Richard Nordstrom as managing


director based in Seattle. Nordstrom is a veteran of the satellite communication market for both the air transport and maritime sectors. In maritime, he was sales and marketing director at Connexion by Boeing and a strategic consultant to satellite providers for the aviation market. He was instrumental in the development of underwater wireless communications systems and their integration with surface systems, and managed a national VHF telecoms network buildout for the US Coast Guard and maritime industry.


gategroup Kristin Brown


Kristin Brown has been appointed general counsel of gategroup. She will replace group senior vice president


and general counsel, Hooman Yazhari who has accepted a position outside the group. Kristin is currently deputy general counsel of


the group and will assume the position as well as joining the executive management board at the end of November. Yazhari has stepped down from his position as a member of the executive management board.


Driessen-Zodiac Aerospace Adri Ruiter Adri Ruiter has taken over from Paul Verheul as ceo of Driessen-Zodiac Aerospace. Adri has had a successful


career at Zodiac Aerospace having had several engineering, sales and management positions within the group. He became president of Weber in 2006 and in September 2008 Adri became a member of the Zodiac Executive committee and acted as the Zodiac Seats ceo.


Macphie


Andrew Underwood UK independent food ingredients manufacturer, Macphie of Glenbervie, has strengthened its board with


the appointment of Andrew Underwood as sales and marketing director. Andrew brings twenty-seven years of food industry experience and was most recently with Authentic Foods. He has also worked at Brakes, Schwan’s Consumer Brands and Coca-Cola. Andrew will be dividing his time between


the firm’s head-quarters in Glenbervie and Manchester, which is closer to Macphie’s core customer-base.
