have a lower level of First class complimentary items deliverd by trolley, it does not offer free meals, so it will be interesting to see whether new bidders will seek to emulate the complimentary offer used by the other two and follow the Government’s line. I am sure that much will depend on the availability and design chosen for new trains, assuming the designers remember that great customer service is so important when you are trying to convince people to travel. This is something that should be pretty obvious to the designers of all new train projects but is all too often forgotten!


‘FoodLab’ opens in London Rail Gourmet has opened its new FoodLab, a new menu development facility in central London, headed up by the very experienced chef, David Small.
