LYRALOVESTAR is a fashion jewelry collection inspired by Crystal Streets’ love of all things celestial and is reminiscent of a night’s sky. The collection is embellished with striking star and moon motifs mingling with messages of hope, love, and inspiration.
The name of the collection was born from Crystal’s exploration of names for her daughter Lyra: “Lyra” is the name of one of the most ancient constellations still recognized today, and it reaches its highest point in the evening sky in August.
Lyra means “lyre,” the harp used by ancient Greeks. Thought to have magical powers, the lyre was played by the legendary mystic poet Orpheus, who was so skilled that he even won the admiration of Hades, the dark lord of the underworld. In his honor, the god Apollo placed his golden lyre among the stars. The name thus represents inspiration, aspiration, and passion.

The LYRALOVESTAR Collection also draws on Crystal’s travels in Europe and Asia. Her appreciation of world culture can be seen in the names of the pieces in the collection, such as Estelle, Jata, and Namid, which is a Native American word meaning “star dancer.”
Realized in 18-karat gold plating, the ethereal, bohemian-chic LYRALOVESTAR designs sparkle with amethyst (a stone thought to aid meditation, protect against bad fortune, and promote good dreams), onyx (said to protect against nightmares and evil thoughts), and Swarovski crystal (portrays the best reflection of colors through light).
The LYRALOVESTAR Collection will be available online www.lyralovestar.com and at select boutiques and luxury department stores, at prices ranging from $65 to $350. Crystal Streets created the LYRALOVESTAR collection for the fashion-forward woman who lives in the moment, looks to the future, and believes in the power of passion and determination to make dreams come true.
