Scene from the Film a Perfect Life -What is the most fun part of your job?
Feeling that I am doing what I love and what I am meant to do. It’s like a drug.
-Do you expect your way of creating films/ photography to change in the future?
Definitely. This process is evolutionary. Each project calls for its own set of ingredients, and that is where the filmmaker grows with the film.
-Do you embrace the changes in the film industry regarding social media and technology influences?
Oh God, yes! For example, we would not have been able to make this film if it wasn’t for the advent of the Canon 7d. I think as technology and how we experience films changes, it will elevate films in general. There is no substitute for talent, and these changes will empower that talent and make the execution of their vision more accessible.
-Do you like art? Do you have any preferences for an artist? And/or for creators of artistic work (can also be a chef, designer, photographer, fashion designer or inventor)?
Art is the result of and source of passion. There are so many amazing artists out there, but I would have to say my favorite is Mother Nature. She never fails to inspire me, and I am always in constant awe of her work. I would have to say she is arguably the most prolific and inspirational artists of all time.

-If so, why is that? What special quality do you like in their work or personalities?
Her work embraces creation and destruction, and it knows no bounds. She is unpredictable and answers to no one.
-In which way do you think film, art and music are different and/or similar?
Inspiration finds its medium. Artists are the vessel for making that inspiration available and accessible to others.
-Do you follow any philosophical or psychological approach in making your designs?
I believe in beginning with a clear intention, being present in the process and being open enough to allow the creation to become what it needs to become -- even if that differs from the intention I started with.
-What is your favorite building in the world?
I remember vividly standing in the Coliseum in Rome at age 3. It made quite the impression.
-What is your favorite hotel? The Trulli houses in Alberobello, Italy.
-Do you have a dream for the future? I dream of experiencing self-actualization through art and life experience, of making a significant contribution to the world with a wide and varied body of work, and of living life to its fullest.
