Introducing the Decade Club

The Decade Club recognizes the loyal friends of St. Anne’s-Belfield School who have made gifts to the Annual Fund for at least ten years. This dedicated support is the cornerstone to the success of St. Anne’s-Belfield School.

Proud members of the Decade Club, Robert and Andrea Bogley ex- plain their connection to the school and why they choose to give back.

Trough the years, few families have been connected to St. Anne’s-Belfield School on more levels than Robert and Andrea Bogley. Robert will begin his 19th

year teaching Middle School History in the fall, at the same time that

their daughter, Emma, begins the sixth grade. Robert’s wife, Andrea ’73, was a sandbox student at St. Anne’s School and worked in the Middle School office for six years prior to Emma’s arrival. Te couple has seen four children graduate from St. Anne’s-Belfield: Alison ’98, Alex ’02, Peter ’07, and Susan- nah ’07. Teir son-in-law, Brian Gulotta, has even signed on to teach 8th grade history and coach next year, further extending the family’s legacy.

“I’ll forever appreciate the quality of education and feeling of community, safety, and comfort that St. Anne’s-Belfield School has provided for our family,” Robert notes. “In some ways the lines are blurred between our immediate family and our school family, and I believe in supporting the school just as you would do for any other family member. You look aſter one another, and that is why over the years we have gladly supported the school beyond tuition dollars.”

“St. Anne’s-Belfield has given us a sense of steadiness in our lives that is irreplaceable,” Andrea adds. “I think back through all of the programs and plays that our children were a part of, and it’s quite astounding. I don’t think Alison would be a teacher today if it were not for the great teachers she encountered at St. Anne’s-Belfield. Te school has centered essentially my whole life, and the Decade Club is great way to celebrate those who stick with it. Giving back just makes sense if you love the school and trust it.”
