Andrew Gibson The Board of Directors of gategroup has appointed Andrew Gibson as its new ceo. Andrew was acting manager


on an interim basis following the resignation of Guy Dubois. Commenting on the appointment, chairman


of the board of directors, Andreas Schmid, said: “Following a rigorous review process the board of directors came to the unanimous conclusion that Andrew Gibson is the best person to lead gategroup. In his former role as head of the group’s North American business and a member of the executive management board, he played an important part in designing and implementing gategroup’s global strategy. Over the last four months he and his team have managed the company extremely well in a difficult environment.”


Michel Kuitems Michel Kuitems has joined Harmony as senior sales director where he has assumed responsibility for Harmony


sales in Europe, the Middle East and the United States. Michel joins from Skysupply (Munich, Germany) where for the last 10 years he was director business development.”


Oman Air


Rohan Alice Appointed as the airline’s new country manager for the United Kingdom and Ireland, Rohan Alice will be


responsible for overseeing the airline’s day to day operations. He began his career with British Caledonian, moved on to Virgin, and has since held senior management positions with Qatar Airways, Gulf Air and, most recently, with Etihad. Having previously lived in Canada, Europe,


and the Middle East, Mr Alice is now returning from the USA to lead Oman Air’s UK team. He replaces Abdullah Zantout, who moves to Beirut to take on a new role with Oman Air.

Singapore Airlines Campbell Wilson SIA has appointed Campbell Wilson as founding ceo of its low fare airline set to be launched next year.


Campbell joined SIA in 1996 in Auckland, New Zealand where he held marketing and sales positions as well as in Australia before moving to head office in 2003 to head up the Network Revenue Management and Network Planning departments. In 2006 Mr Wilson was appointed vp Canada, based in Vancouver and in 2008 he was appointed gm Hong Kong. His most recent move was to Tokyo in 2010 where he was SIA’s gm in Japan.


Air Berlin


Paul Gregorowitsch Air Berlin’s Board has appointed the president and ceo of Dutch airline Martinair, Paul Gregorowitsch as a new


member of its executive board. Gregorowitsch will be taking over as coo from September 2011 and will be responsible for the airline’s network and sales. Paul began his career at KLM in 1980 where


he carried out a number of marketing and sales functions. In 1995 he was appointed senior vp of KLM, initially responsible for European operations before taking over the global sales passenger division five years later. He was finally appointed evp. From August 2007 Gregorowitsch was in charge of the fortunes of Martinair, a hybrid airline that mainly offers cargo services, but also tourism charter flights.


Linstol UK


Kevin Peat Taking on the role of independent financial consultant from August 2011, Kevin will be responsible for


all Linstol UK’s finance activities including banking, payroll, management accounts, forecasting, cashflow and ancillary revenue.


Colin Munn Joining Linstol UK as senior account manager, Colin will be responsible for overseeing customer contact, customer


support, product deliveries and sales development. Colin brings with him over 30 years of experience having worked with Royalblue Catering Services, LSG Sky Chefs, Adams Bakery, Brakes Food Service, Superior Food Ltd, First Choice Airways and Gate Gourmet.


Nichol McIntyre Nichol McIntyre is the latest addition to the Linstol USA Customer Support team. She will assist in all customer


support issues including forecasting, deliveries and logistics.


Servair


Alain Clévy Alain Clévy has joined the Servair subsidiary OAT (Orly Air Traiteur) as its new director where he manages a team of


370 staff. A field expert, Alain Clévy acquired extensive experience working for flagship service and catering companies, such as Eliance and Avenance.


Alain Muders Alain Muders has been appointed director of Servair subsidiary, Servair 2. A field expert with a degree in


restaurant management, Alain started his career with Servair in 1988, at SOGRI, the subsidiary of Servair, based in Cayenne. He then managed the centres in Lyon, Djibouti and Dakar. In 2000 he opened CPA, then SMC (Special Meal Catering) before joining Servair 1 as the operations manager and assistant director. He then became managing director at OAT (Orly Air Traiteur) before taking up the position of Servair 2 director in June this year where he manages a team of 1,000 staff.
