exclusive design by renowned French fashion brand agnès b and will also contain, for the first time, biodegradable products. The airline’s female passengers travelling in Business are black or light blue, with polka dot printing by agnès b. The new Business travel kit for male passengers, also designed by agnès b, come in either grey or dark blue with stylish lizard print. Amenities include a dental set, socks, eyeshades and earplugs. Male passengers also receive a shoe horn, while female passengers will receive cotton pads. The disposable toothbrush and shoehorn are made mainly from corn starch and cellulose, which is biodegradable, recyclable and uses less resources in its production. The kits are also packed with skincare products from Murad and have been selected specially to protect passengers’ skin from inflight moisture loss and travel stress. Said Cathay Pacific head of product Alex McGowan: “We seek to minimise our impact on the environment wherever we can and are constantly working on opportunities to offer more sustainable products inflight.”
Qantas Buzz Products in Australia has initiated a partnership between iconic Australian designer Florence Broadhurst and luxury New York brand Malin + Goetz for the new Qantas international Business inflight amenity range. The kits are the latest installment in the progressive designer-collaboration series, enabling Qantas Business passengers to unwind and relax in style. The patterns, ‘Oriental Filigree’ and ‘Hollow
Squares’, are signature works that play on geometrical shapes and scaling to create a unique look. Based on where the pattern has been cut in the fabric during production, each bag appears subtly unique. Inside the unisex kits are essential Malin + Goetz skincare hydration products including Vitamin E Face moisturiser, Vitamin B5 hand treatment and lip moisturiser.

Thai Airways Earlier this year Thai Airways First passengers were introduced to the Rimowa amenity kit conceptualised by Formia. The kit was already flying on Lufthansa and Formia noted that it quickly became a “must have” item, even appearing on eBay! The kit has also attracted comments such as “classy”, “original” and “cool”, with some passengers checking prior to their flight to see if the Rimowa kit would be onboard.
