US chef joins Culinary Panel


Suzanne Goin has joined the Singapore Airlines International Culinary Panel. The co-proprietor of Los Angeles restaurants Lucques, A.O.C. and Tavern, Suzanne will work alongside renowned French chef Georges Blanc and Alfred Portale of Gotham Bar & Grill in New York. Her menus will debut on SIA flights between Singapore and US cities from August 1 2011. “We are delighted to welcome Suzanne Goin

Honolulu catering


Flying Food Group (FFG), has finalised its purchase of IICC, International In-Flight Catering Company Ltd. at Honolulu International Airport (HNL) from Japan Airlines Company, Ltd. (JAL) and Kokusai Kogyo Company, Ltd. The purchase adds a 19th kitchen to the


FFG network, which already includes 17 US kitchens and one in Shanghai, China. Established in 1971, IICC currently provides in-flight catering services to Japan Airlines, Korean Airlines and Philippine Airlines in Honolulu and provides speciality services to VIP flights and charters. Dedicated private terminal at Palm Beach


Signature Flight Support Corporation and NetJets® Inc. have signed a long-term lease that will provide NetJets with a dedicated, private terminal at Palm Beach International Airport (PBI). The project includes a 1000 m2 newly-constructed terminal with modern amenities as well as over two hectares of paved ramp, aircraft movement and car parking areas. Design features include a streamlined passenger transition to and from the aircraft ramp, modern furnishings, conference and business centre facilities, crew lounge and rest areas, and flight planning facilities. Construction of the new facility is expected
