variety of small boats powered by oar, paddle or sail. He has cruised them 7,000 miles - and will talk about his experiences. November 18: Tug Buse Adventure, a 14' William Garden
designed pram, along with her builder and skipper Michael “Tug” Buse, traveled almost 5,000 miles across American in 2009 and 2010. CWB Boathouse, 1010 Valley Street,

Fundraising Party For Schooner Adventuress September 23
Royal Argosy will host the second
annual Party for Adventuress, the Northwest's environmental tall ship operated by Sound Experience. The evening features cruising on Puget Sound aboard the Royal Argosy, food and beverage, live music and dancing, and a raffle. Sailing Classes at Seattle Singles Yacht Club
For only the cost of the textbook you
get 10 hours of classroom and hands-on sailing training with top sailors. You will also get three great training sails on Puget Sound with these same skippers. In addition to the basic keelboat training, you will learn how to sail safely and receive sailing gear information. No experience is necessary. Come to a regular Monday SSYC meeting and sign up for classes which are scheduled for Thursdays, September 1, 8, 22 & 29, 2011 at 7:00-9:00 pm. For more info visit
