Lowtide Deer Harbor
Wooden Boat Rendezvous September 6
The 10th running of the Deer Harbor
Wooden Boat Rendezvous begins on Tuesday, September 6th, the day after Labor Day. This two-day annual event typically hosts 40 to 50 wooden boats hailing from Washington and British Columbia. The public is invited to all events. Tuesday afternoon the Rendezvous
kicks off with a mostly-for-fun rowboat around Fawn Island, followed by the most popular event of the Rendezvous, the backyard barbeque held in the lawn of the Deer Harbor BoatWorks on Channel Road. Wednesday morning there is a no-
host Skippers’ breakfast at the Deer Harbor Inn, followed by an open-class sailboat race. Wednesday evening concludes with an awards ceremony and a potluck dinner on the dock at the Deer Harbor Marina. To reserve a slip space for the Wooden
Boat Rendezvous, call Deer Harbor Marina at (360) 376-3037. Let them know you are a wooden boat coming for the rendezvous for discounted moorage. For information contact Deer Harbor BoatWorks at (360) 376-4056 or
