Eugenio has exhibited at DEAL for eight years and according to the company’s Emanuele Guzzi the quality of customers participating at the event continues to grow. “This is an appreciated feature which mainly drives exhibitors and visitors to this important event, which is for many years the most important event around the Middle East,” he said. “The 2011 edition confirms this trend; that’s why we consider it a great success. “The Middle East represents at least 50 per cent of our business. It has increased every year. In a couple of years we feel that the

Pax Company Since the initial DEAL Expo opened its doors 17 years


ago, Pax Company has been a regular exhibitor at the event. According to deputy director of international business Anna Novikova, the Middle East region has always played an important role for the company because “one of the first

Since then we have also installed roller coasters in Dammam and Bahrain. “We were content with the show, which especially catered for the Middle East region amusement operators’ needs and because it is a one-of-a-kind networking platform,” she added. “For us it was different this time because our company presented a brand new product with a completely new concept of operation, namely a wheel of 165m in diameter and 180m in height with the maximum capacity of 1,700 passengers per hour, featuring a new light-weight, sophisticated design allowing reduced installation time and excluding concrete foundations. This concept proved its success among show visitors and we got a good number of contacts, which are now being developed.”


Empex Watertoys Empex Watertoys of Canada is a regular exhibitor at


the DEAL Expo and company president Wyeth Tracy said the mood was more upbeat this year than in 2010, with many more contacts and product requests being made. “We are always promoting our more than 100 products at DEAL,” Tracy said. “This year we had a new creation called Aquacircus, which is a fun-filled, interactive structure with creative water features and interactive spraying clowns. The Middle East is an important region for us as we see the demand for our products increasing.”
