FEEL expands its horizons

LATIN

IN an effort to realise synergies with other developing world amusement markets, Jose Anibal Aguirre, general director of FEEL, the leading Latin American entertainment trade show, has signed a co-operation agreement with Sidharta Nanthur, project manager of the Dubai Entertainment, Amusement and Leisure (DEAL) Expo. DEAL has been growing its attendance

base of manufacturers and operators from the Middle Eastern, African, European and Asian leisure markets since 1995. The show’s organisers successfully gathered more than 150 exhibitors and 5,000 visitors at the 2011 event, which took place in April. “This is a step forward that our trade show is giving,” said Aguirre. “We are achieving international recognition, co-operating with

the most important shows in the world. The Latin American entertainment trade show is crossing the frontiers of the continent.” FEEL currently enjoys co-operation agreements with

other major events around the world, including the Eurasian Parks and Attractions Expo, which recently took place in Moscow, Russia. In Asia, meanwhile, Hot Games Show and the GTI Expo - both held in Taiwan - have booked exhibition space for the third consecutive time at the Columbia show, which takes place from June 15–16.

Coin Tech debuts GS Suite Advisor

COIN Tech, the Argentina-based, worldwide debit card system supplier for family entertainment centres, has launched its latest software innovation, GS Suite Advisor. The new software module tool allows operators to have

full FEC control in the palm of their hand. GS Suite Advisor offers smart reports, traditional admin alerts, an event viewer and also the latest updates in Game System: GS Sense and FlexiReport. GS Sense, the latest business intelligence module of

Game System, is a virtual audit, the purpose of which is to allow operators to have a global company vision or to put all their attention into a specific aspect of their business and avoid repetitive tasks like checking reports or routine administrative controls. According to Coin Tech, the software is designed to

instantly let company owners know if they are on track with their commercial plan without having to focus on metrics and statistics. “Operators can set up their business so that it holds on course, be instantly notified by push notifications about their business status and spend their time doing more business,” the company said.

Tierra Santa enjoys more than 10 years of operation

TIERRA Santa, Latin America’s only religious theme park, has enjoyed more than 10 years of operation and now boasts the latest in amusement technologies. Located in the Costanera Norte area of Buenos Aires,

Argentina, Tierra Santa is nestled between the domestic airport, a driving range and a waterpark. Opened in 2010, the park recreates historic Jerusalem - complete with Wailing Wall - and transports visitors back over 2,000 years to show how people lived at the dawn of Christianity. Since its opening, Tierra Santa now includes animatronic re-enactments of Genesis, the Nativity and the Last Supper, complete with music and light shows playing off dry ice. The general plaza near the food court hosts live-action musical performances, from belly-dancing beauties to plays. The crowning glory is Jesus Christ’s resurrection as a

60ft statue that rises robotically over the Holy Mount 10 minutes before every hour, to the piped tunes of Latin choral music.

“In addition to this, operators have always demanded

their reports in a timely, economical and simple way. For this reason, Coin Tech broke the business mould and put a new generation of flexible reports in the hands of the operator, where they belong. Now owners and CEOs can create their own, custom, intuitive, easy-to-use reports with the new module of Game System FlexiReport.”
