China’s Bentonite Reserves Growing 中国的膨润土储量在增加


Bentonite reserves in China currently rank second in the


world after the U.S. Te country is now developing 200 tons annually, mainly concentrated in the Northeast and Eastern Coastal provinces. China has found 400 deposits and ores and the proven reserves of 2.33 billion tons of bentonite. It is expected that resources of 7.5 billion tons will be found in the future. However, due to the country’s low level of development and utilization of bentonite, a total extraction volume of less than 1% of the proven reserves is expected. ■


中国膨润土储量世界排行第二，仅次于美国。中国 现在每年生产200吨，主要集中在东北部和东部沿海省 份。中国已经发现400种矿石，已探明储量有23.3亿 吨。而且可能还将发现75亿吨的储量。但是由于中国 对膨润土生产利用水平低，总开采量还不到已探明储量 的1%。 ■
