Gene Campion, Illinois, got these two coyotes at 125 yards using a Savage Model 10 in .223 Remington with a 60-gr. Hornady V-Max bullet. The caller is a FoxPro 3.
Doug Davis, Illinois, got this 50.5 lb. coyote using a Savage rifle in .22-250 topped with Nikon ProStaff scope. It was the largest in the state known to the DNR.
Dennis Kappel, Iowa, got this coyote in January with a Browning A-Bolt rifle in .22-250. He used 55-grain Ballistic Tip bullets and a Leupold 12x scope.

Dean Cleghorn, California, got this 43-lb. coyote that he calls "Whitney" because it was taken on the east side of the Sierra Nevada mountains. He was using a Rem. 788 in .223 and called it in to about 80 yards.
