Whidbey Island Race Week July 17-22
Five days of great racing and six
great nights of Mount Gay Rum and lively bands for your entertainment. We again will have the volleyball courts as part of the tent area so get your teams together. Free camping will be available again on the Navy Base. Dinghies Whidbey Island is in its

Shaw Island Classic Race August 6

Yacht Club, the 41st Annual Shaw Island Classic Sailboat Race will be held Saturday, August 6, and all eligible boats and crews are invited to participate. The race starts from Friday Harbor and permits circumnavigating scenic Shaw Island in either direction, and back to Friday Harbor for a hearty lasagna dinner and awards presentation. Mark your calendar for the 2011 National Bank Easter Seals WAVES Regatta at Royal Vancouver Yacht Club & Hastings Mill Park, Jericho, Vancouver. This year’s event once again features two weekends of competitive keelboat and dinghy racing in English Bay as well as the Easter Seals Cup fundraising race for our more recreational sailors. The Regatta also features a legendary
Festival and BBQ in Hastings Mill Park, next to the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club, on Saturday, June 25th. All are welcome at the onshore Festival which features a delicious west coast BBQ, entertainment, auction, kids’ zone and much more to keep the whole family entertained. All funds raised at the Regatta
