Lowtide Bainbridge Island

Wooden Boat Festival June 4-5

The Bainbridge Island Wooden Boat

Festival is a weekend celebration of the Island’s distinguished history of wooden boat building, design and preservation. Created to pay homage to Bainbridge Island’s legacy of unique wooden boat craftsmanship, the weekend will be the Island’s first assemblage of wooden boat enthusiasts. Tour the boats, hear the sea stories, the music and a lively session of maritime lore as we display a memorable collection of wooden vessels of all types. Join us at the Harbour Pub Marina to meet the owners, builders, designers and assorted characters. Joined by the Bainbridge Island

Historical Society, and a gathering of PNW salts, the BIWBF will host a 30-40 boat selected fleet of sail, power, workboats and tender types. Hours: Saturday 10:00 am-5:00 pm, Sunday 10:00 am-2:00 pm. Admission is free. For information: (206) 842-7245.
