Islander Freeport Rendezvous July 15-17
There will be a rendezvous for
Islander Freeport Sailboats and their owners and families/friends at the Brownsville Marina. On Friday we will have a happy
hour on the dock, Saturday potluck, bonfire, Sunday breakfast and whatever else we dream up by then. Slips at the Brownsville Marina have been reserved, but you should confirm with the Islander Freeport group, (360) 692-5498.

Catalina 27 Rendezvous July 1-3
The Catalina 27 Rendezvous
committee, based in Nanaimo, BC is organizing the 3rd annual Rendezvous, to be held this year on the Canada Day weekend at Maple Bay Marina. The weekend activities will kick off
on Saturday morning with an informal open house. Crews are invited to compete in our Best Dressed crew/ sailboat contest in keeping with the July 1st Canada Day theme. Crews will have the opportunity to
visit the city of Duncan or during the day there will be games, followed by a visit to the dock by the "Windjammers" who will share their songs. On Saturday evening there will be a meal, served by the Shipyard pub & restaurant. The weekend's festivities wind up
on Sunday night, hopefully having succeeded in fostering new friendships with our American neighbors. For registration, moorage, and event information email:

Thunderbird Rendezvous August 5-7
Thunderbird Fleet #1, in cooperation
with the Gig Harbor Boat Shop, will be hosting a T-Bird rendezvous. The event will center on the Gig Harbor Boat Shop and only a short walk to the Harbor History Museum which houses T-bird #1; not to mention, an easy stroll to the Tides Tavern. Boats arrive at the Boat Shop on
Friday. On Saturday will be a Continental Breakfast, a racing event inside/outside the harbor, with flying sails and no flying sails classes. Then dinner at the Boat Shop, and a boat shop discussion. On Sunday will be a continental breakfast. Check out the Thunderbird website:
